Disability Policy Statements
A Disability Policy Statement sets out a company's policy towards its employees, customers, clients and the general public. Written policies are recommended for all companies, just as they have recruitment & retention policies. It is likely that following the introduction of DDA (2005) that companies will be required to treat disability discrimination in the same way as they treat sexual & race discrimination.
